Before joining EMx Lending, Troy served as Market Executive and Vice President of Commercial Lending at ChoiceOne Bank, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the bank’s footprint through new commercial lending and deposit relationships. His deep expertise in CRE financing, coupled with a client-first approach, has made him a trusted advisor to investors and developers across the Grand Rapids market.
Beyond his banking career, Troy has held leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, including serving as Treasurer and Board Member for the Grand Rapids Economic Development Corporation and Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. His experience in economic development, combined with his background in business development at Thacker Sleight, further strengthens his ability to navigate complex real estate transactions and identify opportunities for investors.
